Hansel and Gretel(male female) are led into the woods to be abandoned(birth)
Note: The woods represents the physical world where we experience separation from God.
Hansel and Gretel leave bread crumbs behind on the trail so they can find their way home, but birds eat the crumbs.
We come from the divine, but when we are birthed into this earthly existence, we forget from where we came from and how to return 🌙
After days of wandering in the woods, Hansel and Gretel are hungry and come upon a gingerbread house made of cookies, cakes and candies that was made by a witch to entice the children.
Within the physical world we are tempted by our physical desires to pursue false ideas of happiness(the fool in tarot) 🃏
The witch welcomes the children into the house and the children willingly enter expecting good food and a soft bed.
Ultimately it is always our choice on if we choose our physical nature or our spiritual nature. The choice and battle is internal within each of us ☯️
The witch quickly locks the children in a cage and fattens them up.
We are imprisoned and slaves within this physical world and within the continuous cycle of birth, death and rebirth. Our vices that we covet in this world lead ultimately to our destruction in the spiritual realm
The witch makes the decision to eat the children and prepares the oven.
Our physical bodies will always result in death.
The children become aware of the witch’s plan and they resist by pushing her into the oven and burning her to ashes.
This represents our awakening where we find the truth. We choose to overcome our earthly nature. The death of the witch represents the crucifixion or the destruction of our physical nature/vices/sins.
After the witch is killed, Hansel and Gretel discover a vase full of treasure.
Once we overcome our physical nature, we climb Jacob’s ladder and can achieve full enlightenment or “the Christ consciousness 🙏
The children return home to their father who is delighted to have them home(crown chakra 💜)
Upon enlightenment, we can return to oneness with the divine or the “all” in the promised land/heaven/nirvana and our Heavenly Father will welcome us with open arms 💚
