The Kabbalist note that the 32 paths have there parallel in the human nervous system – as nearly all spiritual allegories of creation relate to the human body – Thirty-one of these paths then parallel the 31 nerve paths from come from the spinal cord. The thirty second and highest path corresponding to the entire complex of cranial nerves, which are 12 in number.
The nervous system is dual in nature – first in the body – it transmits messages from the brain to all parts of the body to control limbs and organs.
Secondly the brain – it transmits information from various parts of the brain for our senses , sight, hearing, taste, and smell.
If an individual wishes to attain mystical experiences and approach the Mind-Heart he must travel along the 32 paths.
The Heart provides our life force to the brain and nervous system – when it stops beating it all shuts down – therefor the Heart is the link between mind and body and body and spirt – (have you ever wondered what makes it beat?) –
